BASIC FUNCTION: Provide Product Marketing technical support and application assistance and product training on the C&K America’s products in Europe. To direct sales force and representatives, provide first level support and information required to design in products defined below. Facilitate communication between the manufacturing sites, the product development sites and the sales force.

SCOPE: Responsible for the profitable growth of all assigned products
C&K America’s Products (all or a sub group), all

  • Provide product support to sales force and customers recommending product design and processes.
  • Provide application engineering assistance to both sales force and customers, review customer specs/drawings, provide response to exceptions and propose solutions to technical problems.
  • Provide customers, and sales force, with product development and capability application support.
  • Provide technical training on products to all personnel involved, including sales force, reps, and C&K employees.
  • Develop a product strategy and implementation plan for each major product.
  • Provide pricing information and support to field sales and key customers.
  • Provides information on market trends and competitive activity.
  • Recommends and documents new product opportunities.
  • Provide assistance both in technical communication and expediting of samples and orders on an “as required” basis.

Equivalent Education Level Required: BSEE, Engineering degree or equivalent work experience in electronic field.
In-depth knowledge of electromechanical technologies and capabilities required/associated with unit products. Knowledge of unit principles, procedures and objectives. Understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities, as well as, custom product applications knowledge. Working knowledge of assembly equipment, quality, qualification procedures, (UL, CSA, ISO, TS, and others as required) and testing procedures/equipment required. Above average communication skills required for both internal and external sales and application contact.
